The IHWT is very grateful to Minister McConalogue, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine for the allocation of a animal welfare grant funding of 136,900 euros today to this charity. These funds are vital to the charity and go towards our equine welfare activities in 2023. We will continue to work to improve the welfare of horses and ponies in Ireland as we continue to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home equines and provide awareness and education in Equine welfare.
